I ordered a martini and my boyfriend ordered a beer. He got his beer right away and it took fifteen minutes for her to remember and notice she forgot mine. There were only 7 people in the bar area too. When i took two sips i realized there were a bunch of black floaties in my martini. It took me about five minutes to get her attention about it. Then she kept taking care of everyone else before starting my drink. And took another 10 minutes to remake it. It also had ice in it when i didnt ask for on the rocks appletini. We left after my remake, all in all finally having one drink in an hour and ten minutes of being there and he had one tall beer. We wanted to eat in the dining room after a few drinks but decided it wasnt a good idea. I bless her heart but i had to make a review. I wont be coming back.

Good food. Large menu. Something for everyone. Moderately priced. Great for lunch. Not the fastest place if you're in a hurry. But overall good.

Was very sorry to hear this restaurant is closed suddenly, especially after purchasing a Groupon for this place recently. Now what?

A little hesistant to try at first after seeing the below comments. But I don't regret it. I went here for a quick lunch and got the Santa Fe Egg Rolls. They were perfect. The service was fast, but that was most likely because it was empty. I definitely will be eating here more often.

First off, let me say our server was fantastic and wonderful. The service was great however the food was not for me. Our waitress said that the sirloin French Dip sandwhich was delicious. I asked her if it was sliced (I am use to large slices---think like cuts of ham). She said yes. I guess I wasn't clear enough. While the sirloin was sliced it was sliced in small chunks. It just was not appealing and swallowing all these thick chunks of meat was not appetizing. I really which they would specify this on their menu as this is not a cheap meal. I left still hungry and unsatisfied. I guess I won't be going back :(

The wallpaper is nice. Food, service, cleanliness: mediocre. Meh.

The target customer base for this restaurant is probably old people with money to spend, so that could be why I found the experience entirely unremarkable. When my bf and I entered, we were greeted by a disaffected young lady who looked bored out of her wits. She wasn't unfriendly or anything, but come on... make an effort... Our waitress was friendly and was probably the best part of the experience. The interior was kind of cute, but the small curtains separating the booth seats were dirty from food being splattered on them... It looked like some kids had a food fight (not sure how recently). The food itself was not great for the value. I ordered the escanaba fish (panfried whitefish with a pesto cream sauce, topped with spinach and tomatoes) and a side of buffalo tots. The fish was waaay too fishy in taste and overwhelmed the sauce, which I thought was bland and could have used some more salt or some parmesan or something. The buffalo tots were just too intense--soggy tater tots drenched in buffalo sauce and sprinkled with blue cheese. I did enjoy the first few bites but couldn't finish the side portion. The roll (rosemary bread?) was okay... The bf got the chili mac and enjoyed it, but he is not picky at all about food. He thought it wasn't great given the price, but the portion was huge and he left full. It wasn't a bad experience or anything, just not one that would convince me to return. At least make sure to get a booth by the windows. It's a nice view on a sunny day.

I only gave them one star because there was nothing less to give them. My date and I went there and were greeted by a 'less than friendly' hostess. We were seated at a booth. It was not busy, there were probably 2 other couples seated in this area. We sat there for 10-12 minutes while staff scuttered around us not even making eye contact. There were 2 or 3 female staff that were at the end of the bar talking amongst themselves. Not sure if we had our invisible suits on that night but we got up and walked out without anyone even speaking to us. I was appalled at the lack of customer service and can't believe staff like that is tolerated. My b/f and I, and ALL of our friends will not be patronizing this establishment again.

This place is not a fancy restaurant. It's a diner that serves up some good sandwiches, burgers, and fries, and offers a decent selection of beers. We also ended up with a pretty cool waiter - he helped make some selections, and bothered us only when we needed him to. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. Is it the best restaurant you've ever visited? No. Will it fill you up, and allow you to hang with friends and catch up? Will it also do so in a fairly cheap and tasty way? Yes. In my mind, that works just fine.

Restaurant has nice atmosphere. Kids eat free on Sunday & Monday. Food over priced and just "OK". Service lacking. Very slow waiter...took forever to bring requested items to table, not good at refilling drinks. Sat most of meal with empty glass. When speaking with manager about things that could improve experience, he seems uninterested, and didn't really seem to care. Would not go back again

I live near this "restaurant" and have visited several times over the years. The service and food quality has been going downhill over time. My husband and I have been forgotten a few times, and left sitting alone waiting....and waiting....and waiting. I talked him into trying one last time. The place was not crowded. Our waitress came, took our order, and left. Then a large party came in and sat near us, and she once again forgot us, and waited on her friends with another wait staff, laughing and joking while giving the party 2 for 1 service. I finally got up and found someone to ask our waitress for our food, which she delivered luke warm. I sent it back. We then had to wait and wait and wait again for our table to be cleared and then wait some more for the bill (after again finding another staff member to assist us). All the while, she was laughing and pulling out all the stops for her friends sitting near us. When she finally showed up, we were exasperated. I told her that this was our last trip to Creekside. Not only was the food of very poor quality, but now the service is nonexistent. I said what a terrible experience this was and we were done with the place. She quickly exited and went into the kitchen. Never offered to adjust our bill or take any steps toward customer service. I'd rather go just about anywhere, than to ever walk into Creekside again.

This place totally takes me back to when I was a kid and my mom would cook for my brother and me. For starters, the food is not pleasurable to eat at all. You have this feeling due to the surliness of the waitstaff and the fact that you know they won't make you anything better that you better put the food in your mouth and eat it. Crying won't help you here. They seem incapable of making food that isn't greasy, soggy and made without love. I had some passionless salmon with mashed potatoes and rubbery green beans that really made me feel at home. My dinner mate had clam strips and calamari which is of course greasy, but there was no joy in those greasy plates of seafood. We tried to cover them in salad dressing to make it go down easier, but it was barely tolerable. My chowder was so unbelievably salty that it was like it came from a can and then they decided to throw more salt to give the illusion of homecookin'. When the waiter noticed we weren't eating it he informed us that all seafood is made of salt and that it was good. Thanks... I'll just put that soup right in my mouth and eat it because you say its good. Their drinks are once again right out of the back of 1970 sunset magazine. There are probably two that are even bearable and the rest are just an amalgamation of cheap crappy liqueur and no real booze. None of the coffee drinks contain espresso which means you'll get old tasters choice and thats what you get. Don't let the packed parking lot fool you, I think there is a baseball field or something nearby because people can't possibly all be eating here.

I have been here for dinner several times. Decided to stop for lunch while running errands on a Saturday afternoon. We wanted to sit down in a nice place with air conditioning. Our table was sticky. My reuben sandwich was good. Hubby's hoagie was great, with home made freshly fried thick potato chips. My onion rings were huge, but heavy and greasy. The cole slaw had too much liquid, but tasted OK, if bland. The bottomless lemonade was way more sugary than I'd make at home, but we needed cold liquids because it was a hot day. Most people would like that sweetness level. A bit much for us. The waiter was attentive, and refilled our lemonade glasses without delay. There were only a few other parties in the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. This visit brought my rating down a notch. I would have given the place at least a 3, based on past experiences. This time, I'd have to rate my experience as a 2.

Creekside Grill & Bar, for what it is, is great. I came with my parents because we were in the area and looking for any place that was open past 8:00 on a Sunday evening, so that's how we arrived there. I have to admit my expectations weren't real high as we walked in . . . it kind of has that "Perkins" kind of vibe. But I was pleasantly surprised that everything I ordered was tasty. I had the steak caesar salad (great) and a side of coleslaw. My parents both got burgers and enjoyed them a lot, although they were sort of skimped on the french fries (I'm pretty sure I could count how many fries were on each plate). Free refills on my diet coke, of course. And you can't beat the prices. Extremely reasonable. So I'd say anyone looking for a good, solid meal and is on somewhat of a budget - you'll love Creekside Grill & Bar. Also, I'd imagine it's great for big groups.

I wish I could give this place 2.5 stars because a few times I've had good food but other times it sucked. The service is almost always terrible. My grandparents take me here all the time because they love it but they can even admit that the service is very hit or miss. Either the waitress won't leave you or alone or they can do what they did to us last night and not come around for an hour. We ordered our food and had to wait about an hour and ten minutes until it got there. We were trading drinks out of one ice glass because we all had empty glasses for 45 minutes. Every once in a while, we get an alright experience but the food is still not that great. It seems good for older crowds or people who like decent variety and atmosphere but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone coming to visit Ann Arbor. Food quality / taste - 3.5/5 Price / value - 3/5 Atmosphere - 4.5/5 Menu selection - 4/5 Server friendliness / attentiveness - 1/5

I've eaten here on several occasions, some good, mostly mediocre, occasionally horrible. Ate there last night, paid $13 for a BBQ pork sandwich, fries, and a salad off of the specials menu. Since they claim BBQ is their specialty, I thought I'd give it another chance, since the BBQ platter I had there a few months ago was substandard. To start, the salad was bad. mostly old-looking lettuce, a couple of cucumber slices, and two cherry tomatoes. If you opened your bag at McDonald's and found this salad inside of it, you'd go back and demand a refund. Seriously poor. I've had better side salads at most coney islands I've been to, which says quite a lot about this one. Next up, the BBQ sandwich arrived. It contained pulled pork and slices of smoked sausage, with a little bit of cole slaw, all drenched in BBQ sauce. As I've discovered, when the food comes out already sauced, that usually means it's not going to be good. This sandwich was no exception to that rule. The meat (which they claim is smoked in-house) tasted similar to what you'd get in a plastic bag or tub from the grocery store, though, given the amount of sauce on the sandwich, it could have been anything. The fries that came with it were definitely delivered in a freezer truck, as I've had the exact same fries at other restaurants supplied by GFS. Overall, not the best BBQ sandwich I've ever had. Not sure if it's the worst, but definitely nothing I would go back there to eat. Meanwhile, across the table, my friend bit into his cheeseburger to find that the chef had forgotten to remove the square of waxed paper that keeps packaged pre-sliced cheese from sticking to itself. Normally, you don't have to spend $12 on a hamburger to get this sort of inattention to detail. Oh dear. Luckily, he had a cold beer to wash it down, despite the fact that refills took forever, what with "the bar being backed up," according to our waitress. They must have the slowest bartender in the world, if he/she cannot keep up with a restaurant that only has 5-6 tables occupied, on a Wednesday night. While I waited for my food, I had chance to take in the lovely ambiance of the dining room, complete with old carpet, and wallpaper that is coming off of the drywall in a large chunk. It's in the corner, so if you happen to see it next time you're there, your table can all place bets on whether it will fall off while you're eating. Also notable was the men's room, which featured some bits of brown stuff in the bottom of one of the sinks. It might have been used chewing tobacco, but I did not think to retrieve a sample before turning the water on to wash my hands. In short, if you like paying premium prices for mediocre food, and eating it in a rundown, poorly maintained establishment, Creekside is the place to go.

I've been out to Creekside with coworkers a couple of times, and my boss picked up the tab for drinks both times, so I can't complain about the drink prices too much. The one time I ordered and paid for my own sandwich, I thought it was a little overpriced, though. I don't know how often I'd go here if I was paying for drinks and food. Additionally, the service was a little spotty. It wasn't actually rude, but the waitress could have stopped by more often to check on us. On the positive side, the inside is nicely decorated and not too smoky. Outside, they have a rather large deck for having a beer and a sandwich in the fresh air. While I thought my sandwich was a little pricey, it was good quality. I've had a lot of variations on the veggie and cheese sandwich, but I've never had one quite like this. They serve up a mix of veggies and feta cheese on a roll. The roll is very much like a hotdog bun, only a little more chewy. Now, lightly grilled veggies and feta aren't too far out of the ordinary for a veggie sandwich, but this one had greenbeans on it, something I hadn't encountered before. It was tasty if a little strange. Their seasoned fries that came along with it were quite good as well. Overall, if you're on the far west side of Ann Arbor and you're looking for a place to have a drink on the deck, you could do worse than Creekside Grill. It's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit, though.

Okay, sorry Creekside, you're getting demoted by a star. A return visit yielded an overpriced beer sampler ($6.50 - 5 samples, 3 Bell's, which is cool, 2 Sam Adams, which is crap), overpriced Gazpacho, a server that both rushed us and forgot our bread... and an overpriced seafood entree that contained exactly two pieces of lobster (one of which tasted off). Also I ordered a Caesar salad with dressing on the side. It came with dressing on the side, but ALSO on the salad. ????? I'm going to say overall that Creekside is generally a pretty solid choice for a meal, but don't expect to get blown away.

Food is typically really good here, but the service is always sub-par. The waitstaff seem friendly but are rarely attentive and often have to be hunted/flagged down for assistance. Menu choices are pretty broad and are often good, but not outstanding. Typical bar food dressed up with some decent choices for main meal. I prefer the lunch menu to the dinner menu because the selection is a little easier. Portions are typically generous. Some of the dishes like soup choices seem to be 'canned' and not homemade, which can be a little disappointing. I like the tuna salad sandwhich for lunch, with the seafood chowder. Dinner is typically brisket, but ask for the sauce on the side, or it will be drowned. Don't expect to be wowed by the food, but you won't walk away hungry. All-in-all this is an ok place, and good for a simple meal. Typically quiet enough and the atmosphere is subdued.

We been going here for years and today was just the last straw. They discounted my favorite dressing (which the server didn't even make any recommendations) and totally did not write down that I DO NOT want green onions on my salad. I'm not allergic to it as my husband is BUT I didn't want to be eating a green onion salad! Sub the dressing for regular ranch but didn't need since the salmon add flavor to the lettuce. To top things off, I had a coupon for $5 off $30 and she didn't even take the coupon and just my credit card. When she can back with my credit card, I looked at the price was still the same. She said she didn't even see it and walked away. Rude service and we won't be back EVER!

Do I dare get an appetizer instead of an entree? Oh my goodness yes, and let it be the black bean and corn quesadillas! The only thing keeping me from being a total heffer and wanting one every day is the canned corn. Some grilled corn cut off the cob and put in there... I'd lose my mind.

I have to agree with the most recent reviewers this place is just ok. We had BBQ and mine was suppose to be brisket but it looked like pulled pork to me. For the level of food the prices are high. The BBQ sandwich was $12.95 and it was not a out of this world sandwich. Our server was ok, she didn't know what the specials were that evening, when we asked what the people next to us were eating (bbq sandwich) she didn't know how they ordered it (it as a special that night). But with that said the waitress was listening to us, I had mentioned the soup of the night sounded good but it was exta $3 which I didn't want to pay for but when you brought the food she included the soup and said they were out of coleslaw (whcih they weren't) so that was nice touch. The only reason we will go back, I read here on Yelp they have a good happy hour and we will try it.

I've been going to Creekside for several years now, and I've always been a big fan. I've always considered it a slam dunk for visiting business associates or friends and family when a wide selection was needed. I'm not sure what's caused the change, but both food quality and service have declined over the past year. My wife and I just returned from what will likely be the last of our attempts to relive Creekside's lost glory. The wait staff seemed annoyed by any questions about the specials, and I wasn't sure the host staff was even going to make eye contact for several minutes. Food was just blah, which has become typical for them. Now I would highly recommend folks just pay a little more for a far superior service experience and meal a little further down the road at Zingerman's Roadhouse.

This was our fourth or fifth visit to the Creekside, it is located on a pretty patch of land, unfortunately surrounded by strip malls and a Lowes. As Wes T. said just a month back, "food is typically really good here, but the service is always sub-par." I would amend his statement to, "the food is often good here, and the service is often sub-par." Normally I would rate them at three stars and I am feeling a bit guilty, but "Meh, I've experienced better" really sums it up. What brought us in, I am sad to admit, is they do free kids meals on Sundays and Mondays. My kids are 2 and 4, they never eat their food, but always insist on getting their own meal, my horrible parenting skills aside, four meals get to be expensive, especially when only two are ate. Our server came over and seemed a little out of sorts, she never smiled and seemed very put out that my children ordered a water, then when they ordered their meal, also ordered a chocolate milk. She only brought me one water refill, while I watched the server one section over hit his section about 6 times in the same time period. When I asked for some bread (which we have always received in the past for dinner), she told me it was still baking. Mind you, this was 6:30, and when she brought me bread three minutes later, it was not warm and a little stale. She came to check on us about seven minutes into our meal, which is a little late, but within a good range, asked, "is everything okay?" I pointed out that my wife took all her apples off her salad and that they were horribly bruised and battered, her response, "oh." As she walked away my wife said, "well it is obvious she does not want to be bothered with that." They were red delicious apples, which are pretty tasteless to begin with. If you are going to have an apple cherry salad, generally you would want to have a tart variety of apple to really set off the nuts and cheese, granny smith would be a better choice, or even better yet, pink lady. Other than that my wife really liked her salad (three star) and it looked like a decent mix of greens in good shape. I ate her tomatoes, as she does not like them and they were pretty horrible considering the tomato on my sandwich was amazing. I ordered off the special menu for Monday, a chicken BLT on brioche (a pretentious word for bun, apparently, it is suppose to mean French pastry, whose high egg and butter content give it a rich and tender crumb. It is "light and slightly puffy", but in this context it was just a bigger bun), it came with fries and I paid a $3 up-charge to get the "cajun clam chowder." Sandwich was good, four star, the fries were standard restaurant fries, maybe a little better than normal fair. The soup was really meh, salty would be the best way to describe it. It had all the ingredients for a five star soup, huge chunks of quality clam, lots of clam, potatoes, celery, onion, thick creamy broth..... but the salt over shadowed all the quality components. Both kids ordred buttered noodles. Sadly, our server lost even more our my diminished opinion of her when she dropped my 4 year olds plate from about three inches up, she left it about a half foot from where a kid would need it to eat, she did not mention it was hot, but I am guessing that is why she dropped it and my 4 year old immediately jerked her hands back after trying to situate the plate in an appropriate manner to eat from. Kids loved their buttered noodles, really did not leave any at all (so they made a liar out of me). When the server brought the check I gave her my card, I noticed the kids meals were still on the check, but thought they must have to adjust them off, pretty standard at restaurants these days with electric check/ordering systems. So I was very surprised when our two meals came to about $40 bucks. I asked if this was right, and the server literally (and i am using this correctly, not as some sort of hyperbole or sentence filler) stood and stared at me for 30 seconds. So I prompted, "can you fix it?" her response, "I don't know, let me go and see." What the bloody hell??? Five minutes later she came back with another slip for me to sign. The next day I saw both charges on my card, so I called to make sure that there was no mistake. The server seemed so incompetent, I did not want to pay $65 for my two meals. I ended up speaking to the owner. It was also a very strange conversation. He assured me that it would not charge twice, then asked why I thought my server was incompetent. After telling him that she was very unfriendly and dropped my kids hot plate without warning that it was a hot plate, he said, "Anything else??" So I just kept going. To his credit he did apologize and told me how/why many of the things that happened, should not happen. "Well, Mr. Russell, see we have a policy that any food that sits in the window for a long time, until the plate is hot, should get a new plate that is not hot before it is serv

I'm not sure what happened to this place, but it's gone wayyy down hill in the past several years. I used to work on that side of Ann Arbor and this was a great establishment. A fun place to go for happy hour and beyond with co-workers. It was a great mixed bar crowd and was a nice place to sit outside in the summer. I got a new job in 2006 and haven't been there since. On Saturday, I was in that neck of the woods golfing and decided to stop in for a bite to eat and some drinks after our round of golf. I couldn't believe how absolutely DEAD this place was at 8pm. Wanted to sit outside but there wasn't another soul out there on a beautiful night. A couple patrons in the bar area and the dining room was totally empty. Instead of giving us an option of where we wanted to sit, the hostess sat us in the empty dining room. We were just looking for bar type food (appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, etc.) but the menu we were given had nothing but $20 meals on it. Not what we were wanting at all. When we asked if they served burgers, we were then given an entirely different menu which I guess was their "bar" menu. That contained what we were looking for. I almost felt that by them seating us in the dining room and only giving us the dinner menu with only expensive options, they were trying to scam us. Although the food we ended up ordering (the fonduta appetizer and a couple burgers) was delish, I can't imagine with them having two full and very large menus that their food is very fresh or made with quality ingredients. I would really recommend that they combine their menus and cut their food offerings down by half, if not more. Also, with it being so absolutely dead in there and I'm sure we were our waitresses only table, the service was terrible. That seems to be the reoccurring theme with this place and must be what's keeping patrons away. She was not very friendly, took forever to come back and check on us, forgot drink refills, etc. Overall I might eat there again if I happened to be out that way but would never go out of my way to go back there.

Four stars for certain items on the menu and the big televisions in the bar. Three stars for smokers standing outside the door, and two stars for some of the obnoxious regular customers in the bar. I realize they can't get rid of those customers, but they are loud and unfunny. Food: avoid the pulled pork bbq which is supposedly a specialty. It has been uninteresting every time I've tried it. They should go over to Washtenaw Avenue to taste what it's supposed to be like. The turkey reuben is, to my taste, exceptionally good as are the hot sweet potato fries (try them with the chipotle ranch dressing). Eating on the deck in summer is nice - they are far enough from traffic and other buildings.

A friend and I recently went shopping at the Little Seedling and used Yelp to find a nearby restaurant. We decided ont he Creekside Bar and Grill and had quite a nice lunch. It was very quiet (this was a Sunday afternoon), and the service was friendly and attentive. The menu was HUGE, but we both just got sandwiches. I got the pulled pork sandwich with homemade kettle chips and coleslaw. All were delicious. My friend got a patty melt with french fries, which she declared "the best fries I've had in a long time." She said they were super crispy and not too greasy. It also looked like they had a nice selection of beers, which we unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to try. I don't make it down to Ann Arbor much, but I would definitely swing by the Creekside again if I were in the area.

My wife and I thought we'd try out the Creekside - despite the mediocre and negative reviews. With a last surge of nice weather, we opted for dining alfresco on the deck - and while listening to the dulcet tones of the nearby highway, we watched the sun set and had a nice dining experience. Our server was very attentive and the food was good - not roll-n-the-floor-ecstasy-amazing - but better than what we were led to believe from the other reviews here (it is a "grill and bar" after all - what do you expect - 5 star cuisine?). We'd definitely recommend this place, and we are definitely going back.

Awful meal that cost too much! I had the fish tacos which were loaded with pickled onions and sour cream. Yuck! My hubbie ordered the fish and chips and the fish was overfried and super greasy and the fries were refried several times before serving. AND the bathrooms were filthy to boot! Don't go here if you can help it.

When ever I wanted a stake I would come here and order the Black and Blue Stake. Since the last time I was here the owner (the old grumpy guy) took it off the menu. Very disappointed at that. I used to drive out of the my for that stake. As far as I'm concerned that was the only good thing on the menu.

If you live on the outer west side of Ann Arbor, you have few options as far as Bars go. Creekside is a great place if you want some good food and plenty of HD tv's for any sporting event. My favorite things to eat at Creekside are their soups. Their Cajan Clam Chowder and their French Onion (ask for the cheese on top extra crispy) are delicious. They also have a huge menu with rotating specials, so it's usually easy to find something that you will like. The atmosphere up there is pretty easy going. They have a bar are that is seperate from the casual dining bit. The bar is mainly made up with middle aged folks who are always good for an impromptu conversation. I think they have around 12 large HD tv's. They don't play loud music which is nice if your trying to chat with someone. All in all, it's my favorite place on this side of town.

Three strikes and you are out, Creekside.... I came here last night for a dinner before I did some volunteer work. The parking lot was packed, like it is every Friday night (although I am not sure why)... but thought that since I wanted a seat at the bar, I would be "In and out".... That's not how it really worked... I stood at the hostess station for quite awhile before the hostess pointed me towards the bar. Then once at the bar, a waitress kept pointing at me and barking to other staff that I hadn't had someone see about my drink order (not sure why she couldnt do it). A very nice waitress came, took my drink order, and gave me a menu. The service was extremely slow. I asked for the happy hour specials and the waitress told me they weren't going to be available for long. While some of them looked good, it took so long for the waitress to come back that they really were not avaiable for me to order... I ended up getting the smoked ham and cheese on a pretzel roll with a side of fries ( could of had chips or coleslaw). The sandwich was ok. More lettuce and tomato than ham and cheese.... It was supposed to have jalapeno mustard on it, but ended up having no mustard at all... While the fries looked good, they tasted bad. When I bit into the sandwich the bun fell apart and I ate most of it open faced.... This place surely has it's regulars (they are the drunks at the bar yelling and making the rest of the area feel uncomfortable).... Overall, the place was ok (environment had a "old feeling"), food was less than great and the prices were poor... I wouldn't be back....

I recently visited the establishment and while my server / bartender was fabulous there was a mix up in my order I spoke to a manager named Leslie who is beyond rude inappropriate and bobbing her head as she spoke to me. I asked to speak to her boss because of her unprofessionalism and she decided to laugh and give me attitude I would have to say that speaking to the owner he acted very nonchalant but more appropriate than his manager. I would tell you that there are better restaurants in the area that are not overpriced. In fact I would love to quote Leslie as their prices have gone up since my last visit and when I expressed my disappointment in a portion sizing because I normally order two portions and get a certain amount today I ordered three of that same thing and received the same amount that I had previously gotten for two orders. Leslie said just because our prices have gone up doesn't mean are portions have how rude can you be to the customers that you want to come back to your establishment.

I just had the worst dinning experience of my life this evening at Creekside Grill. The highlight of the evening was the assistance and good customer service we received from Ginger the hostess. Food was decent although we were not told there was a $3 up charge if you did not have the soup of the day. The food absolutely does not make up for the HORRIBLE service & lack of professionalism on the part of the evening shift manager or Tom the owner neither of which would come over to the table to address our concerns. Upon leaving we called to share our concerns with Tom and he was short and rude. They have lost two customers!!! We had a table of two and it was not overly busy, it took over 40 minutes to get a glass of sangria and a single beer. And only received the beer when we notified the hostess how long we had been waiting. The manager stopped by to say sorry it was the waitresses first night she would now be our server & comp. our glass of wine & beer. After another 20 minutes we notified the hostess once again we needed someone/anyone to take our order. We finally received our food about 30 minutes later. We again had to go the hostess to get our bill again we asked to please speak with the manager again we were ignored. The hostess delivered our bill. I was in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and my dinning partner for over 12 years & we have never experienced this total lack of customer service & professionalism.

All-in-all a very nasty place. Park in the lot, walk towards the door and you are greeted by the nasty smell of the stale cigarette catchers perched each side of the door as you walk in. Horrible. We entered anyway to (hopefully) enjoy a quick drink and an appetizer before visit to the movies. Normally I wouldn't mention this, as it shouldn't matter in 2012, but my wife is beautiful and she is black. Now it transpires that the clientele at this "establishment", at least last night are both classless and racist. Old and middle-aged white males gawking at my wife as we walk in. A older couple sitting at the bar opposite giving nasty racist stares, the barmaid apologizing for her shaking hands (I honestly think she was nervous about serving an interracial couple). Two glasses of wine and the calamari. The calamari was a very small portion for $8.95 , greasy and tasteless. Considering the wine was only $2.50 a glass it was OK - but it is late January in Ann Arbor - where the hell did the fly come from in my glass? This place is just dirty. Yuk. Never again. Dirty place, classless, racist regulars. Me thinks not!

What a nice menu! Something for most everyone! Brett is excellent... Left us wanting more :-) ...but enough to satisfy as a free appetizer, LOL Food is very good... But can be rich! Feel free to order at your leisure... They will change for you without a nasty face. Nice atmosphere

Food was great. Service was friendly but mostly unattentive. Queso con Chile soup was very spicy. Half off margaritas Wednesday was a bonus. I have to remember to not get chips and salsa again. I swear the salsa was GFS bulk tomato paste crap. My Portabello mushroom ravioli was fabulous. My husband loves the smokehouse stack. Pulled BBQ pork, w polish sausage, and cheese. Looks like heart attack on a bun. I will be back for the ravioli again.

This is probably the WORST restaurant in Ann Arbor and almost the most expensive--bad combo! I have eaten here at least 10 tries as it is the closest restaurant to my home and we love to eat out! If I am paying $9 for a lunch sandwich at least the tomatoes could be red ripe in season August in Michigan. What happened to quality ingtedients? The salad was dismal with a lonely dried out carrot sliver. The mashed potatoes looked like they were globby from last week's dinner ..darn right gross! One bright spot was the gazbacho...very fresh and tasty. Lunch service was inattentive at best. I HAD TO BEG to even get a glass of wine. So over $45 plus tip for a beyond sub-par lunch...NEVER again will I step in their for HIGH outrageous prices and LOW quality food. No thank you no mattet how close I live.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
